AOBiome in the News

We have been getting lots of press over the last few weeks, the two most visible were the article in the New York Times titled "My No-Soap, No-Shampoo, Bacteria-Rich Hygiene Experiment" - NYTimes.com written by Julia Scott, and the NPR podcast Are We Really Too Clean? | On Point with Tom Ashbrook" where he interview one of our founders and Julia Scott.

The story was also covered on ABC New’s Good Morning America, and through online outlets like Jezebel and Reddit.

We are excited, proud, and a bit startled to learn that we were the most emailed story on the New York Times website for over 24 hours, and among the top 5 most emailed stories for the last 30 days. This supports our belief that there is growing awareness about the harm we have been doing to our sensitive microbiome by applying harsh chemicals to our skin.

We are dedicated to advancing the science of understanding how to restore health to our skin’s micro biome, and are are feeling validated to learn how many people already share this concern.
